Welcome back to another Nuby product review. This was a fun one. You would think that reviewing a step stool might be a little bit on the boring side but soooo many people in this house get use of it {ahem me!} that it’s a wonderful product. Check out the Step-up Stool.
I originally wanted to use it for our downstairs powder room. Ben and Sean run downstairs early every morning without brushing their teeth or getting dressed so we tend to brush down in the powder room {odd I know but whatever works}. Well our bathroom has a pedestal sink and the boys are still a little too short to reach the sink to brush and spit properly. The old stool that I had for them was destroyed by someone who we shall never name. So when I saw this one I jumped on the chance to check it out. Especially since I read that it can hold up to 800lbs. I really would like to test it out but I don’t think I can fit 20 people on there to try. Maybe a small elephant? But back to the Step-up Stool. It is pretty awesome.
It’s PERFECT for the kids. It’s cute and has some texture to the step so the kids won’t slip and slide on it. Which is very important when they are in the bathroom washing their hands or brushing their teeth. Water tends to go EVERYWHERE so I feel safe that they aren’t going to slip and fall while standing on there.
In my powder room I have problems checking out my outfit in the mirror. I will confess that I usually jump up on the toliet seat to see myself full view {yes I even did this 9 months pregnant}. But now I just use the kids stool. I can get a better view of my outfit and make sure that I look somewhat put together and I am not covered in spit up before running to the bus stop.
